Help with Appointments

We offer help with ensuring our clients keep up with any appointments that they may have and need assistance in remembering. These appointments may vary from:

hospital appointments or home visits by nurses or doctors

reminders of dates for a family gathering or visit from family

We also assist our clients in making appointments.

Personal Hygiene Assistance

We offer assistance with maintaining personal hygiene and this includes assistance with:

• bathing

• brushing of teeth

• getting dressed

• putting shoes on

• continence care 

• help with use of toilet

Domestic Assistance

Our independent living support includes assistance with:

• food preparation and cooking

• shopping

• cleaning the house which may include hoovering, cooking

• making bed and changing linen

• going on outings for appointments or social activities

Continence Management

We offer help to our clients in ensuring:

health of bladder and bowel function

ensure use of aids to manage continence for example continence pads

ensure that clients have necessary regular checkups and reviews on issues surrounding continence.​

Mobility Assistance

We ensure that our clients are safe from risk of falls by offering assistance with mobility where appropriate with guidance from the doctor or GP and medical team of the GP practice where client is registered. This assistance includes help to:

• get out of chair

• get out of bed

• walk within home or outwith

• get out of bath or in using the toilet

Hospital After Care

We provide assistance with care in your home after coming from hospital to ensure that you stay comfortable and as independent as possible. Our care staff will ensure that you get all the help you need in your recovery from hospital and also have a good balance in your quality of life and day to day living.
